President Cathy Merrill called the meeting to order at noon.
This year’s international theme is “Unite for Good,” Our local club theme this year is "Our Rotary Family Cares."
Bert led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance.

MV Club’s Speech Contest winner Jessica Yuan came in 2nd in the Area Contest
New Member Application! Michael Singleton has submitted his application for membership. The Board will vote on Michael’s membership at the meeting on Wednesday. Share any comments with President Cathy.
Our own member, Sanjay Dave is recovering at home now from his successful heart surgery.

Program – Our speaker was Amy Kaiser, Chief Program Officer, Community Services Agency. Amy talked about CSA’s Board recent decision not to accept federal funding earlier this year due to grant compliance restrictions that could potentially put clients at risk. The issue has since been satisfactorily resolved. She answered questions from the club.
