It was announced that the next Board meeting will be on November 21
Dave Cole thanked members for volunteering at the Art & Wine Festival

Monique announced that she will bring pledges for all to begin fully our Foundation campaign. November is Foundation month, November 5th through November 26th

District Governor will hold ‘casual’ meetings in January
There was a mention of Camp RYLA and Hal and Sanjay being involved again this year. Walt also continues with the Enterprise Leadership Program.
Frank Verlot said there is a meeting in Fremont coming up. Avenues of Service may take place in February

The speaker was Kevin Walker from Stat-Medicament-Disposal Corporation. This company has an enhanced ‘drug take back program’. Among other things this program can prevent tainted drinking water if people use this program to rid oneself of drugs/meds. He sees this program as one way to combat the Opioid crisis.
