Guest Speakers: Mtn. View Rotarian Anita Grossman and Accidental Impacts founder Maryann Gray spoke about the prevalence of accidental killings and serious injuries including their stories. Accidental Impacts was founded to be a resource to individuals and families finding their way through these traumatic experiences. www.accidentalimpacts.org for more information. As a non-profit, it’s vision is to turn pain into purpose with resources to help those persons who have been in an accidental intentional killing situation, such as car accidents. Maryann shared 30,000/year kill someone accidentally plus 100,000/year injury someone by accident. These events are often not spoken about and this is the first organization available for those who seek help.
Maryann's and Anita’s bio are available at https://accidentalimpacts.org/about-our-organization/
