The Mountain View Rotary Crab Feed is back this year and it will be better than ever.  All the delicious crab you can eat and we will also have an exciting Art and Memorabilia Auction.  It is certain to be a great time and all proceeds go to support community programs and projects.  Please join us!

President Jerylann greeted the club and said the welcome to the club of MV Rotary. We are fun, enthusiastic & inspiring rotary family---we are the best rotary Club around!!
 
Introduction of guests by ScottPhil’s grandson and a woman called Christina who will be starting a Start-Up incubator program and is looking to rent an inexpensive room locally.  Let Heather know if you know someone.
 
 
Vocation spotlight on Ernie Hawks who spoke of his long career. He said that when he had his insurance office on Castro when there was only one Chinese restaurant!
                                                                                                                                       
Dick L attended the Rotary International President meeting at which he heard a good talk by John Germ.
 
Monique presented Tom M with a Paul Harris pin! She thanked him for his generous gift.
 
Scott presented Sanjay with a 4-way test paper weight as a thank you for his getting the December speakers
 
The speaker this week was Jaqueline Kabat, an Improv comedian and teacher. She did interactive comedy with the club which was lot of fun!
 
 
General Club Announcements:
 
Thanks to Monique for bringing desserts and the thought for the day on compassion.
 
The next weekly auction will be a place to stay in Half Moon Bay
 
Dave said the Community Service Project was going well and had volunteers into March
 
Alan and Bruce spoke about the Crab Feed. Tickets were distributed to sell. Volunteers were asked to sign-up.
 
There will be an Art/Memorabilia Auction at 7 at the Crab Feed
 
Monique will seek volunteers from CHAC
 
Bruce reminded people to sign up for the ski trip
 
The Board meeting on the 19th at CHAC is to start promptly at 5:00 and will be for 45 minutes this month
22 club members have joined the President Club
 
Tori will have the next month speakers
 
Our International theme for ’16-17 is Rotary Serving Humanity
 
Our district Governor’s call to action is “Attract the young, have lots of fun, get more done!” Thanks for joining us today.
