Hello everyone! Welcome to our meeting of the Mountain View Rotary Club. This year's International Rotary Theme is "The Magic of Rotary." Our local club theme this centennial anniversary year is "Mountain View Rotary: 100 Years of Creating Magic through Service and Fellowship."

Club Business/Announcements
1) Presentations: blue badge to Judy Crates; RI Banners for their Presidential Year to Sanjay and Tori
2) Rotary watch auction – Congratulations to Sanjay for the winning bid
3) August Birthdays: Heather - 14th; Walt - 22nd; Alex - 29th; Jack - 30th; Bruce - 31st
2) Some upcoming dates: Pickleball Fridays, 9:30 a.m., Rengstorff Park; Tuesday August 27th, Social hosted by Tom & Judy (no luncheon meeting that day); Wednesday, August 28th, 5 p.m. Board Meeting at Tori's office (or Zoom); Friday, September 13th, 100 Year Anniversary event (Bruce & Suzanne's house); Tuesday, September 17th, District Governor Jill Duerig's visit (meet with board at 11:15 a.m.).; October 5th - Steven's Creek Trail Clean-up; District "Avenues of Service" Conference, Saturday, October 19th, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Milpitas.

4) We Passed around the sign-up for the President’s Club and Heather signed up
` 5) An old Rotary watch found in the warehouse last week was auctioned off for $25 to Sanjay.
6) Judy Crates received her Blue Badge.
7) Tori and Sanjay were presented the flags from their year as President.
8) Tori was given a 2023-2024 Rotary Citation as a reward for the club’s standing during her year as President.
9) Jerylann, Jack Wong, Steve Nichols, and Tori all volunteered to be sponsors of our Club’s 100th Anniversary Party on September 13th.
