Today Sanjay Dave and Judy Hannemann presented our annual Speech Contest. They have been coaching and encouraging a student club of those giving speeches from the Mountain View and Los Altos High Schools. Today three of the students were competing in the contest to select the best two to go on to the District Contest. A number of club members assisted as judges, timekeeper, etc.
The club members and several guests heard from the three contestants. We were amazed at the quality of the presentations. This made it hard to select a winner.
The winners were: Third was David Xiong, second was Bennett Rosenberg, and first place was Ms. Leah Lam.
