Our International call to action for 2016-2016 is to “Rotary Serving Humanity”
Our club’s call to action this year is “Make the World a Better Place!”  Thank you all for joining us today.

General Club Announcements:
 
  • Thanks to Phil for providing dessert today.
  • Jerylann - Next Board Meeting is Thursday, July 21st at 5:00 pm at CHAC.
 
  • Sara Tierno was inducted today.  Welcome Sara!
 
  • District Governor here on October 25
 
Club Assembly:
Board Members introduced their goals for this year.
 
Jerylann’s Major Goals as President
  1. Increase Membership
  2. Foundation – 100% participation and $7500 raised
  3. Socials
  4. Community Service every month
  5. Vocational Spotlight
  6. No fines but everyone joins the President’s Club!
    1. So far Bruce, Alan, Dave, Jack, Hiro, Tom, Phil, Twana, Tori, Jim Cunningham
  7. Increase Endowment Fund through auctions every other month
 
Scott – Speakers Program
  • Interesting, professional and inspirational speakers to attract new members and engage our club
 
Dick – Vocational Chair
  • Impart Rotary history, engage members to speak of their backgrounds, increase community service
 
Paul – Secretary
  • Continue to provide superior club administration
 
Sanjay – Membership
  • Grow club to 40 members.  People join Rotary for service but stay for the camaraderie. We can potentially volunteer at the Sept. 10 – 11 Art & Wine festival
 
Tori – Social
  • Next social is next Tuesday at Tori’s theme is Pets (or Animal Planet)
 
Dave Cole and Jim Cunningham – Service Projects
  • Continue to support local projects like Cops and Gobblers, CSA, CHAC, St. Stevens Trail Clean up among others.  We can possibly volunteer at free monthly concerts.
 
Monique – Foundation
  • 100% club participation and a goal of $7500 raised.  Cupcakes for all!
 
Bert – International Service
  • Although we do local projects, Rotary has a global presence with many international projects.  Our club will need to define how we want to direct our funds this year.
 
Tom / Judy – Club Trainers
  • Provide whatever club support is needed
 
Alan – Mr. Crab Feed
  • Lead the annual Crab Feed
 
Ken – Scholarships
  • Lead the annual scholarship program
 
Next week we will have Heather discussing Youth Service, Jim Spangler discussing the Endowment as well as a few words from our Past President Twana.
