ANNOUNCEMENTS

Jim Spangler was congratulated for the success of his son and daughter in The Amazing Race. Jim had seen the finale in New York. He also announced the safe return of his other son from Iraq to Germany.

 

Alan Goodman thanked volunteers who helped as chaperones at the Interact Dance: Sandi, Cheryl and Alicia.

 

GunnHigh School choir sent a letter of thanks for our contribution of $100 for their 2009 Vienna-Prague Concert Tour. Our youth student visitor will be singing at their concert at GunnHigh School this Saturday, 7.30pm at Spangenburg Theatre.

                          

Sandi McDonough announced profit of $620 for our funds from the Cruise ticket Raffle.  M.A.T Caparas drew the name of Carla Paul as winner.  CONGRATULATIONS CARLA!!

                            

Bellringing to help the Salvation Army - Sign-up sheet passed round.

at Trader Joe's on Saturday Dec. 20 from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm.

 

CHUCK outlined a special deal offer for New Year celebration in Monterey.

 

Jim Spangler was presented a certificate for joining the President's Club.

SPEAKER:

Tony James, a long term volunteer at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose presented information about their current "Leonardo: 500 Years into the Future" exhibition.  This only US appearance of the exhibit can be seen through January 25, and features working models of many of Leonardo da Vinci's designs.
