Today we sent good thoughts to DAVE COLE who is starting chemotherapy this week. In his absence from the Endowment Board several of us are involved with reviewing applications for Scholarships. Dennis Kobza will be arranging interviews for Mountain View High School, Bruce Barsi for St Francis, Monique Kane for Mountain View Academy and Judy Hannemann for Alta Vista and MVLA Adult Education.

A sign-up sheet was passed for volunteers for the world-wide ROTARIANS AT WORK DAY on April 25. We shall be joining Friends of Stevens Creek to clean up the Trail, the creek, and nearby park areas on that Saturday morning 9am till noon.

Alicia's Committee is working to decide what grants should be awarded to local community organizations.
Speaker:- Bert Raphael spoke in detail about the Rotary Foundation's organization and funding and urged members to support the Foundation especially with "every Rotarian every year" contributions and by joining the Bequest Society.
