Tom Myers rang the Bell and we said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Jim Cunningham provided us with a thought for the day.
Phil Armi led us in song singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
Sandi McDonough introduced visiting Rotarians and guests. Our only visitor was Roy from the Los Altos Rotary Club.
Alicia Crank came bakc after a week off and returned with the Fine Bucket. Rotarians were all asked to donate $2 for not having any Rotary swag. Among those fined include Twana Karney for the 15 year anniversary. Also Fred Storeck celebrates his 36 year anniversary this month. Sandi McDonough was also fined for another year of life.
Jim Cochran circulated a sign up sheet for RotaCare food delivery, and Monique Kane passed a sign up sheet for the upcoming CHAC fundraiser at the Mountain View Art and Wine Festival.
Chuck Osborne will be participating in the Santa Barbara long course triathatlon to raise awareness for Leukemia and Limphoma in honor of AJ. Our speaker today was Preet Bhasin from Santa Clara County's Victim Witness Assistance Center (SV Faces). SV Faces offers many services to victims and witnesses of crime including: crisis intervention, emergency assistance, direct counseling, court escort/support, restitution, credit intervention, funeral arrangements and many others. SV Faces currently supports the Santa Clara county and is stretching into other surrounding counties. For more information about their services please visit: wwww.svfaces.org.
In closing Tom Myers thanked Preet for his time and shared with Preet that we would be making a donation to the Polio plus campaign. Tom rang the bell.
