Thank you to Dave Cole for arranging our Day at the Races. It was a beautiful day with lots of people enjoying the spectacle and winning or losing money. It was a special end of season event which is now history as Bay Meadows may never be the same again.
President Sheila shared a letter of thanks from Jeffry Walker, the Executive Director of the Cummunity School of Music and Arts thanking the club for our grant of $500 to their Annual Fund Campaign.
The Rotary Club of San Francisco is to celebrate their Centenary in November. They plan a whole series of Events between Nov. 8 and 11. Watch the Internet for announcements.
Roger shared information about an event on 8/22 held by the Cupertino Club.
Bert Raphael will share details about the ski trip - date depends on the crab feed date.

Ronit Bryant spoke briefly about the Mountain View City Council's work on diversity, and suggested that the City and Rotary might co-operate to extend youth service.
Bert Raphael spoke about Rotary International Projects, and those in Belize in particular. Bert also shared a film of his visit to Belize.
