Announcements:

Passed around is a form to sign up for attending the Avenues of Service workshops in Hayward on October 16. The Club will pay the for your attendance.  Please sign up by the end of the month.

Bert Raphael had a letter from Adeline, his student guest, now back safely in France and still very enthusiastic about her visit to California.

Tom Myers reminded us of a program on Sept 25 - "Unnatural Causes- are we paying too much for Health Care"  at the SeniorCenter at 7.00 pm - 9.00pm

Speakers include Dr. Cheryl Channing from Rotacare.          

Nilesh was welcomed back from his travels.

Certificates for joining the President's Club were presented to Gerry Felix, Dennis Kobza and Steve Nichols.

Jim Cunningham our FINEMASTER:

Congratulated Nilesh for losing weight since we last saw him. Dave Cole offered to pay a fine for Steve Nichols' recent performance on the golf course showing how he well he has recovered from his injury.

Club members were warned to be sure to wear their Rotary pins next week or face a $5.00 fine.
