-To Walt Joyce from District Governor for special service to District 5170
Club Announcements:
-Thanks to Monique Kane and her crew of merry-makers for a fun kick-out event for Sheila. I talked to Sheila afterward and she was genuinely touched by the obvious affection in the evening. Special acknowledgement to Alan Goodman for his documentary presentation of Sheila and her impact on the world of architecture through the years.
-Thank you notes from scholarship recipients
-Chuck: San Jose Giants is August 1 @ 6pm. There will be a BBQ and game for $23 for adults and $14 for kids. Sign up on ClubRunner
-Ernie Hawks provided an update on Dave Cole
-President's Club costs $200 this year. MAT Caparas has already signed up. Alan Goodman has committed.
Monique will be passing around a sign up for CHAC Parking volunteers at the Art & Wine Festival Sept 12th & 13th.
Alicia would like to know if there are any volunteers who would like to represent Mountain View Rotary at Thursday Night Live - please see Alicia for more info.
