These are the emails from David Tran and Cheryl Moller as part of the November Minutes

Via emails after the meeting:

Account Balances             From David Tran, Endowment Board Treasurer:

Endowment Checking - $3,070.62 + $ in Mutual Funds.  Charities Checking - $917.  The Temple has been paid for Crab Feed rental but he suggests that we should have more money in this account to begin the Crab Feed.   Some money from the Cruise Raffle has been deposited into it as of 11/18.

Club Service            from Cheryl Moller

It was suggested that Nikki be recognized at the next meeting for all her outstanding efforts in moving the lunch to the Buddhist Temple on 11/12.  It was also suggested that every Rotarian donate $20 towards a Christmas gift. The collections should start quietly at the next meeting.

For the Crab Feed on Feb 7th, Sandi and Karen are working to get silent auction items.  Letters will be ready next Tuesday and an envelope stuffing party will be held.  Rob Slawinski, an auctioneer, is speaking at the 12/9 meeting and is willing to stay up to an hour after the meeting to consult on the specifics of our auction.  A replacement for Anita is needed.  She was working on sponsors and marketing.  A kickoff presentation is working on and should be ready in the next two weeks.

A Sante net is approximately $25, 944.  Carla will announce at the next meeting.

It is probably time to review the vocational/personal talks.  People have been reluctant to give them as they think they have already done it.  If it was originally intended to help people get to know one another, maybe we should have a 5 - 10 min break at the regular meeting to socialize.  Our thoughts...
