Rotary & Toastmasters working together, this is the first group since creating the partnership. They will meet 2nd & 4th week, evening meetings, figuring out where to meet. $45/every 6 months.Social: February 25th, 5:30 pm at Paul & Susan’s houseCrab Feed: Alan reported we raised approx. $16,000Program: Introduced by Jim Spangler.Mary Chigos from Mission Hospice.Different ways to serve. Can be referred by doctor or you can refer yourself or by family.-Team can come out & evaluate – there is no charge for this.-Continuum of Care – serve patient & family throughout last year of life.-Curative Care-Palliative Care-Hospice Care-Transitional Care-Patient makes decisions. Family involved.-Need volunteers.-They also have a Hospice House – this is for the last couple weeks of life, if the patient cannot stay at home any longer.-Website: www.MissionHospice.org
