Good afternoon!   I’d like to welcome you to the Rotary Club of Mountain View.
My name is Bert Raphael, your President for 2018-2019. 

 

Our Rotary International theme for this year is “Be the Inspiration”. 
Our Mountain View Rotary Club theme is “Have Fun Being the Inspiration.”

Polio Campaign Report (Monique)  -- Flash campaign results doing well

Rotating Dinner Report (Anita):  A great success!  Thanks to Anita for organizing and all who hosted

District Conference, May 17-19 on the Hornet, Alameda

          Any “Thought for the dinner” suggestions?

June 22: Rotary Club Kick-Out Dinner at Michaels at Shoreline.   Reception/Drinks at 6 p.m., followed by dinner/program at 7 p.m.    More information from Scott to follow.  

 

Golf Tournament -- Mountain View Rotary typically holds a golf tourney and bbq the first Friday in June.   Not sure if we have enough support this year with some members injured, etc.  Please contact Walt by phone or email if you can play, and how many in your group.  We need to have 24 or more to make an event.  Walt Joyce 650 814 5569 or Wpjoyce@gmail.com.

 

Vocational Talk by Ernie Hawks – Ernie talked about life at the Terraces in Los Altos and invited all to come by for a visit.
