ANNOUNCEMENTS:

President Elect Tom Myers had attended District Pre-PETS meeting on Jan 10.

Membership is still a big issue and we are urged to keep inviting new people to join.

One benefit is to use the Yellow Pages for your business listing in the District Bulletin. This is a free service to make your name know to other Rotarians in the area. You can sign in through the District website.

As the Club is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, members can attend the Chamber Mixers. On Wednesday January 14 Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto Chambers have a joint Mixer at the Cabana Hotel on El Camino in Palo Alto 5,30 to 7.00pm. $10.00 payable at the door.

Sandi updated us on Crab Feed preparations. Sign up for auction items and for helping at the Crab Feed.  Keep selling tickets!

The Milk Pail and Foothill Disposal Co. have agreed to be sponsors so our fruits, vegetables and garbage collection will be free of charge.

Bert Raphael announced that 27 operations for heart defect in children in China have been performed as a result of our joint project with Cupertino and the Beijing Rotary Club.

As Mountain View Club was the first in the District to register its program to participate in the Rotarians at Work Day on April 25, we received a bottle of wine which we can add to our auction items for the Crab Feed.

Five people will be going on the Ski trip later this month.

Blue badge was presented to David Tran.
