Raffle tickets for cruise to Mexico, drawing will be held Tuesday Dec 16th. We need to sell 15 or more tickets to bring in some profits.

 

Bert Raphael announced that you can still get into the drawing for a trip for two to England by donating at least $20 to the Rotary Foundation.

 

Alan Goodman is looking for volunteers to chaperon the Interact Clubs district dance on Friday December 12th at the LucieSternCommunity Center in Palo Alto.

Volunteers are also needed for coat check, admissions, food sales etc. Please contact Alan if you can help out.

 

Alan also announced that some club members are attending the Sunday matinee of Peter Pan at 1pm on Dec. 7th at the Children's Theatre in San Jose. If you would like to join in just contact Alan.

Ernie Hawks  introduced our speaker:- Lieutenant Commander Rt. Etay Nir from the Israeli Navy. Mr Nir shared his experiences as a ranger in the Israeli Navy for 12 years.
